I've moved!!

He there fans (cause I know there's so many of you) =) Just wanted to let you know I've moved.

Please update your bookmarks etc. This one will stay here for posterity, but I was feeling weird about posting such LA stories on the "London" site, so I made a new one.

You can find it HERE

We still don't know what we're doing next or where we're going to live. When we decide I'll either make another blog (for the new city) or change the "limbo"ness of the LA one.

Thanks so much for reading and for following along on part of our adventure in Europe. (I still haven't posted some entried I started months ago. sigh)

Huge hugs!!!!!!
Tiff- =)

the season

All these extremest christians need to get over this whole fight over "Happy Holidays" & "merry christmas". They are suing companies for using the word "Holidays" instead of "christmas". It is NOT wrong to say "Happy Holidays", it's inclusive. Which is what I was taught real christianity used to be. Inclusive. This is not a time of year that only has christmas. There's the solstice, yule, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa and, let's not forget, New Year's. That's lots of holidayS. Plural.

And christmas (or jesus) is not "the reason for the season". "The season" has been around and been celebrated long before jesus was born (which didn't happen in December, by the way). The solstice and the changing of the seasons is the reason. Not to mention that the decorated tree & St. Nick & evergreens have nothing to do with jesus. But why do they need to be specific in the celebrations anyway. There are more people in the world, and indeed the US, than just christians. Shouldn't we include everyone in this season? Even those that don't fit into any of those "categories". It is the season for compassion & loving, not dividing.

So, Happy HOLIDAYS to everyone!!! =)
