what a turn out!

Yesterday we had the most fabulous party! Thrown by or amazing neighbours, Kate & Eric as a welcome home. So many people came! It was great to see everyone. We've missed everybody. But, like the wedding, I feel like I didn't talk with everyone enough. Half finished conversations still ring in my head. Oh well. Now we get to go see everyone one on one.

My aunt came down from Northern California for it (& other things) and brought 2 suitcases we'd sent with Alex's parents.More stuff! But there was sooooo much food! And it was American. Burgers, hot dogs, macaroni salad, potato salad, chips... and so many people brought amazing deserts! Spice cake, apple pie, banana cream pie, cup cakes, cookies... I'm gaining weight just thinking about it.

It was a very long party & we wore out Kate & Eric. Kept them up wayyyyyy past their bed time. the little kids there were so cute & played dress up. Yea!
